After creating your Google Analytics account, you can proceed to install Google Analytics on your WP website.
2. Install the Best Google Analytics WordPress Plugin
There are a many different methods to setup Google Analytics on WordPress. But in this tutorial I will show you the easiest and fastest method where we will be using a free light weight WordPress plugin to grab all the data from Google Analytics.
In your admin dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New, then Search for “Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights”.
Click Install Now then press activate.

MonsterInsights is probably the most popular Google Analytics plugin on WordPress with more than 2 million websites using it.
3. Connect Google analytics to WP
After activating the plugin, go to Insights tab in your WordPress admin dashboard.
Click on Authenticate with your Google account.

Google Analytics page will pop up. sign in and choose the account you want to use for tracking.
Google Analytics then will ask permission for the plugin to access your data.

4. Adjust Tracking Settings
After your google analytics account is connected to WP, you can go to the Tracking tab to choose how the plugin tracks your website visitors.
